Ecological Restoration as Leverage for Justice
This graduate Landscape Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning capstone speculates on a new paradigm for the role of environmental design within ecological restoration efforts. Recognizing a relationship between degraded urban ecology and socioeconomically depressed neighborhoods, this capstone proposes a spatial design and participation strategy that coordinates existing efforts to address both of these problems simultaneously.
